As described in the Everglades Landscape Model User's Guide in the Publications link in the main menu above, our models run under a variety of unix flavors (e.g., tested under different Linux implementations (SuSe, Ubuntu, Fedora, RedHat) and Apple OS X).

ELM v2.8

The regional application of the Everglades Landscape Model v2.8, at 500 m grid resolution, is the latest public release (2009). Includes all source code and data needed to install and run the historical (1981-2000 calibration/validation) run.

As stated in the README text file (that is also in the download), download the below distribution archive file, then gunzip and untar the distribution, and run the ELMinstall.sh script.

The companion raw output data for the historical (1981-2000 calibration/validation) run (described statistically and graphically in Chapter 6 of Model Documentation) is also available.
